Even a small step or a high threshold can pose a big problem for those with mobility challenges. Our customer had a 4" rise from the ground to the top of the entry point of their garage door. They did not want a permanent 36" wide ramp that would impede use of their space. A 29.5" wide suitcase ramp was the perfect size for someone walking with a rollator or walker, but could also accommodate a full-sized wheelchair if needed. Additionally, suitcase ramps support up to 800 lbs. so a caregiver can use the ramp at the same time as the primary user. The padded handle on the back allows the ramp to be carried and folded for transport.
