This Harmar SL 300 FR Stair Lift with a folding rail was installed for access to a terrace-level apartment for mom. We often hear customer concerns about stairs ending in front of a wall. If there is about 36" of space between the first step and the wall facing it, that is plenty of room for safe entry and exit from the unit.
