This project is a great example of a standard straight stair lift installation. The staircase required a stock length of 186" of rail with a standard park at both the top and the bottom of the stairs. Stair lift track affixes to brackets on the stair tread, not to the wall, so that beautiful wainscoting wasn't damaged. Our customer was the perfect candidate for the Harmar SL 300 model. It has a weight capacity of 300 lbs., a 19" x 16" seat depth, and a swiveling seat. They are thrilled to now be able to access 2nd floor beds, and baths!
