This homeowner had a narrow staircase. A Harmar stair lift requires only 27.5" of staircase width, and the seat of the Pinnacle SL 600 folds flat to 10.5". The completed install left plenty of room to be comfortably seated in the lift, and for someone to walk past the lift on the staircase. Problem solved!
