ADA requirements mandate that a building have two accessible exit points. Our customer needed access from his garage door to become compliant. A modular aluminum ramp system would have been a great solution, but a 12' ramp would not have allowed space for storage or cars in his garage once installed. A vertical platform lift (VPL) was the perfect solution! The Harmar Highlander II provides bright LED lighting to indicate operating, and battery status, and maintenance checks. Additionally, Harmar lifts provide the smoothest ride in the industry, and have an easy-to-use large paddle-style switch. We demo’d the stairs to provide the necessary flush install under the threshold, and voilá! Access Granted!
