As many homes in the Lake Norman area are multi-level, many people consider a stairlift for mainting access to their entire home. This client has a large, wide staircase but wanted two things specifically; He wanted to maintain the handrail on the staircase and wanted to ensure no guests would trip over the railing at the bottom landing.
He chose the Harmar Pinnacle SL600 with a folding rail. This unit is one of the most compact on the market and we were able to maintain the handrail and still leave plenty of room for those who walk the staircase. The folding rail at the bottom ensures there is no tripping hazard when the lift is not in use.
