Customer Needs & Story: The customer, a senior with limited mobility, wanted to stay in their family home without compromising their independence. They needed a stairlift that not only fit the unique architecture of their staircase but also blended with the home's decor.
Hurdles: The biggest challenge was the staircase's complex design, which included several tight turns and varying widths. We needed to create a custom solution that would navigate these twists while providing a smooth, comfortable ride.
Installation Process: Our team conducted a detailed on-site assessment, taking precise measurements and working closely with the customer to understand their needs and preferences. The custom curved rail was fabricated to match the exact specifications of the staircase. Installation required meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every curve and incline was perfectly aligned.
Time Frames: From the initial consultation to the final installation, the project took approximately five weeks. This included design, fabrication, and a two-day installation process.
