Job Responsibilities

Your primary role will be to support both the Oro Valley showroom and the Marana showroom, as well as clients in the surrounding areas, while learning all functions of Mobility Plus. You may occasionally support the Tucson showroom as needed. While advancement is not guaranteed, this position has been established as a career path to our showroom manager positions and it will provide you with the opportunity to gain expertise in all aspects of Mobility Plus operations.

You will be responsible for learning the service and repair functions of Mobility Plus:

  • Provides 5-star client service in the showroom and in the field
  • Tests and replaces batteries as needed
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mobility equipment as needed
  • Delivers and sets up durable medical equipment (DME)
  • Drives to client's home to take measurements and photos for mobility equipment
  • Drives to client's home to install grab bars and other mobility equipment
  • Drives to client's home to repair grab bars and other mobility equipment
  • Takes pictures of and receives signatures for verification of completed jobs
  • Ensures proper forms are completed with every delivery, service, and repair
  • Receives deliveries (unpacks, inventories, assembles, cleans up, and stages products)

You will be responsible for learning the sales functions of Mobility Plus:

  • Provides 5-star client service and expert mobility consultation in the showroom and on the phone
  • Knowledgeable on all our products and services
  • Guides clients to appropriate products based on their needs
  • Able to demonstrate features of all our products
  • Articulates the value proposition of our products and services to clients
  • Ensures the proper forms are completed with every rental
  • Rings up clients at the register, take payments, and print receipts
  • Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures including discounts, refunds, and deliveries
  • Helps clients load and unload products from their vehicles
  • Maintains showrooms, products, and displays in a clean, orderly, and visually creative way

You will be responsible for learning the management functions of Mobility Plus:

  • Provides 5-star client service and expert mobility consultation in the showroom, on the phone, and over digital platforms (email and text)
  • Arrives early and stays late as needed
  • Ensures the showroom is open and ready for business as scheduled
  • Ensures the showroom is closed properly and ready to be opened the next business day
  • Ensures the showroom is free of hazards and is a safe environment for staff and clients
  • Recovers and resolves negative client service experiences and regains client loyalty
  • Conducts regular inventory counts and resolves any discrepancies
  • Assists, covers, and fills in for all positions in all locations as required
  • Supports decisions made by the leadership team
  • Develops excellent phone skills, computer skills, and mobile device skills
  • Develops excellent computer program and mobile app skills including Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Square

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Working schedule

This is a full-time hourly position supporting both our Oro Valley showroom and our Marana showroom requiring approximately 38-46 hours per Monday through Saturday. You may occasionally support the Tucson showroom as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Also includes working outdoors in elements/weather.
