My mother had an accident and subsequent surgery that left her non weight bearing for a prolonged time. There was no physical way for us to safely get my mom into and out of her home for the multiple doctors appointments that followed surgery. When I called Phil at the time of the accident (prior to her surgery) and explained the situation, he arranged to immediately have a roll away ramp delivered to her home to allow us to get her in and out with a wheelchair. Phil was empathetic, knowledgeable, and extremely quick to provide the help we needed. He and his store, Mobility Plus, are a true asset to our community. Mobility Plus has achieved 5 Stars with our family! Phil was AWESOME! We first purchased a motorized wheelchair and came back weeks later to purchase a lift chair for my 96 year old father. These items have changed his life tremendously. Phil's recommendations for my father were excellent! He asked questions to get to know our father and our family dynamics, home structure etc. Phill even came to visit to ensure that his recommendations were appropriate for Dad, prior to our purchase and to measure. He then returned after each purchase to ensure that my Dad was happy with his new equipment. Phil went above and beyond the call of duty to make Dad comfortable and happy, especially because Dad was not ready for this new lifestyle.Phil handled Dad with compassion, grace and ease. We were just in town for the day. My daughter just had knee surgery and she needed a way to get around. Mobility Plus had so many great options and they found the one that worked perfectly!

Mobility Plus has it all for your mobility needs: product and service. I have an old transport chair that I started to use after a fall. The brakes weren't working very well and the chair was dangerous because it would move when I sat down or stood up. Phil, one of the owners, fixed it for me while I waited. When I started talking with Phil, I learned that he is a Physical Therapist whose goal is to help people stay independent within their own homes. To that end, this store had a great selection of scooters, wheelchairs and walkers ready for you to try out. They also had all kinds of accessories to facilitate mobility. AND if you need help getting a walker or rollator adjusted for your height, as a Physical Therapist, Phil would be the perfect person to do that for you. I also need to get something to help me transport a wheelchair. Phil was very knowledgeable about the options and I feel confident that he will be able to help me select the right setup for me and my SUV when I'm ready to buy. This store is equiped with enough options ready for you to tryout. I didn't feel like Phil was trying to sell me something but was truly trying to help me determine what would best suit my needs. So if you want to go to a place that has good inventory and great service, Mobility Plus in Solon is the place to go!
