Very friendly and we immediately found him to be a great listener to understand the needs of my sister as she moves to an independent living facility. He directed me to what he suggested to be the best chair for her. It is important to note it wasn’t a sales pitch but more a consultant’s approach. He presented several alternatives while discussing the cost aspect including likely possible subsidies to investigate. We would highly recommend Alan along with his valued assistant Anthony to identify the best investment in appropriate equipment, presented on display with many options. I can't say enough about this business or its owner, Alan. When you're disabled, your chair is your lifeline; when it's out of commission, so are you. Alan creatively found a less-expensive means of repair, was knowledgeable, professional and kind - my chair was ready in under 30 minutes. Go ahead and try to find that kind of service anywhere. Wonderful company! The company that installed our stairlift refused to come and fixed it when it stopped working. In desperation I called Mobility Plus. They came out the next morning and in 45 minutes it was fixed. It alway pays to read reviews before buying.

This is a great store if you're in need of some mobility mods to your home or if you need a lift to get your vehicle! I was needing an easy way to get my scooter in and out of my Kia Soul because it had become too difficult for me to take it apart and load all the pieces separately in the back. Then needing to take it out one piece at a time and reassemble it. It was a very slow process and it was getting harder to bend over to pick up and set down the pieces, especially the rear wheel assembly! I went to a couple mobility stores in the area and both stores just pressured to buy a lowered floor van. I don't have the money to put down on a vehicle loan. I'm on fixed income and don't have that kind of money in the budget to make a big payment. The van they were trying to sell me almost 60k and the cheapest used one was still around 45k! I left both of those places really disappointed. I really wanted to keep my Soul! It's great on gas and, more importantly, I had just paid it off! I saw Mobility Plus online before and I had the impression that they just did mobility stuff for houses but I figured I would just go anyways to check it out. I'm glad I did because, to my surprise, they actually sell a interior vehicle lift that was small enough to fit in my tiny car! It's an Autochair Smart Lifter. I had looked into vehicle lifts before but all I ever found were hitch mounted lifts. I wasn't really wanting an exterior lift because I wasn't excited having my scooter hanging off the back of my car in the rain and snow. Besides, I found out that you can't put one on my Soul because I guess the back of my Soul isn't strong enough. He had a LC Smart Lifter on a display in his showroom and it was super simple use and actually barely took up any space in the back. I can take it completely out of the car an basically not lose any space and even get under the floor in case I needed to get the donut in case I got a flat tire. I bought the lift and they installed it in 3 or 4 hours while I waited. The install was super clean! Now I don't avoid leaving my house because I hated dealing with that damn scooter. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend going here before those other places that just want to get you out of there with a van!!

The Mobility Plus team is so great to work with. Professional, prompt and takes the time to answer questions to put my mind at ease. If you are looking for DME I would highly suggest stopping into their storefront or giving them a call!
