We needed a scooter for a quick vacation in downtown Greenville. The entire process was great. Valerie helped me select and order the product and Tom delivered and picked it right on time. It could not have been easier. The person we ordered the scooter for was reluctant to use it. She did not have a scooter and did not want one at all. We all just wanted her to be able to keep up as we moved through downtown. Tom's kind and gentle personality put her right at ease. He assured her there was no shame in using a scooter and no one would even give her a second glance. He was right, no one paid any attention to it. Everyone in our group was glad we got the scooter, even the reluctant scooter user (she was sold on it). I am so glad that I called them. The folks at Mobility Plus are wonderful to work with to solve your mobility issues. They worked with me to design and order a custom stair chair for my stairway with a 90 degree angle. They were supportive, informative and always helpful during the process. I can now navigate my stairs with ease. They also installed hand bars in my showers and half bath. David and Tom were always there to answer all questions and they called several times to keep me updated as the product was built. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Mobility Plus Greenville, SC April 2026, we purchased a Jazzy Ultralight Electric Wheelchair at Mobility Plus, Greenville, SC. Valerie Grindstaff, Consultant/Owner (with her husband,) is superb at her job. She explained every detail of this power chair by demonstrating how quickly we can open, close and lift into our car. Weighing only 35 pounds, it is airline compliant and is light enough for seniors to handle. We were both allowed to drive the chair in the showroom for a trial run. It allowed us an opportunity to put the chair thru all sorts of situations using the controller. We appreciated Jazzy’s ability for a tight turning radius. It was easy to exit the chair by raising the armrest to stand or slide into another chair. The learning curve was easy and smooth with an option of five speed settings. The drink/phone holder is a standard accessory. We purchased a travel bag that rests on the side of the chair via velcro. A great accessory to conveniently carry necessities safe and secure. Another important feature is the cool mesh back and padded extra seat. The cushion is designed with a rounded edge for leg comfort. It is advised to remove the cushion before folding the chair for transporting. The footrest is a nice size and also folds for transporting. We purchased the adjustable headrest, and a Jazzy Travel Bag, that includes a zippered battery bag. The padded armrests are so appreciated! John Davis, a Mobility Consultant (at Mobility Plus,) assisted us with our accessories and made sure we understood how to assemble the travel bag, headrest and how to charge the battery. A bonus is the 5-star service from Valerie and her team at Mobility Plus. They have a great selection of power wheelchairs, scooters, accessories and a wide range of medical merchandise. If you are looking for a 5-star, lightweight, battery-operated chair, that is easy to transport, airline compliant, and as jazzy looking as its name, this model is a great choice.
