A Safer Home, Inside and Out

What started as a fall prevention assessment turned into a meaningful safety upgrade that restored confidence throughout the home. The homeowner initially knew he needed at least two grab bars in his bathroom and one in his garage. After walking through the home together and reviewing product options, he decided to take additional steps to improve his overall stability and independence.

We installed four HealthCraft Easy Mount grab bars in key areas for strong, secure support, along with a folding wall-mounted shower bench to make bathing safer and more comfortable. One of the most impactful additions was a custom wrought iron handrail at the front entrance, covering three feet of his existing steps. He shared that he had not used his front door in over a year due to the lack of support — and this installation gave him the confidence to safely use it again.

This project not only reduced fall risks but helped restore full access to his home, inside and out.
